About me
I record the life history of the trees in the form of prints.
My special attachment to trees began as a child, when my grandfather would tell me interesting stories about tree species in his cooperage or while walking in the woods.
The unique patterns and peculiar shapes of the log cross-sections are an unrepeatable fingerprint of nature.
Collections
To emphasise uniqueness, I only work in limited and exclusive series.
The logs are signed and numbered in 5 impressions per colour. In this category you can choose from my portfolio works.
I use a manual letterpress technique without using a press, so each print is unique and unrepeatable.
A one-off, personalised imprint.
Capturing memories of a specific tree in artistic form - from material brought in.
Special for art lovers - made from wood provided by me.
Once the logs have been imprinted, they can be made into exclusive furniture.
Gallery
The texture of the log engraving is also palpable in the prints.
About the technique
My favourite moment is when the full pattern first emerges after planing, I am fascinated by each one and it doesn't fade with the successive discs.
In the process, I deepen the texture of the wood by firing to give the patterns sharpness and detail.
I use a manual relief printing technique, so that the natural textures are reflected in the prints.
The log impressions are not only visual but also tactile, highlighting the rich texture of nature.
The woodcut prints tell their story with the rings of the year, in a unique and limited edition format.

Support the future
With every print sold, you plant a tree through the 10 million trees movement to give something back to nature.
My aim is to preserve the harmony between art and nature, and together we can create a greener future.
